This website is owned and operated by Inspiration in Education, referred to as ‘IE’ or ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ throughout these terms and conditions of use (the ’Terms’). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you during and after your relationship with us, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).   • relevant to the purposes we have told you about and limited only to those purposes

Our policy complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 (Act) accordingly incorporating the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The law requires us to tell you about your rights and our obligations to you in regard to the processing and control of your personal data. We do this now, by requesting that you read the information provided at Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform that contract. In that case, we may have to stop providing a service to you. If so, we will notify you of this at the time. Information we hold about you and why

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may process the personal contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and personal email addresses, IP address, for appropriate lawful bases as follows:

  • provision of services
  • the completion of a contract to purchase eBooks or subscriptions via our website
  • provision of marketing further information.


We may need to use some information about you to:

  • sell products to you
  • deliver services to you and manage how we provide these
  • provide you with suggestions and advice on products, services and how to obtain the most from using our website
  • send you information which we think might be of interest to you if you have agreed to this
  • carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us
  • market our related products and services to you, where you have given your consent for us to do so
  • help with research and planning of new services
  • help investigate any worries or complaints you have about your services and to answer your questions and enquiries
  • pass on to third parties where we have retained them to provide services that we, you or our client have requested.


We will use the email address provided by you to contact you regarding the eBooks and/or subscription service that you purchase. We’ll only collect and use personal information if we need it to deliver a service or meet a requirement. None of your personal information will be kept for any longer than is necessary in order to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Whenever and wherever we collect, process or use personal data, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely and in accordance with our privacy policy. We don’t sell your personal information to anyone else. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to say no. If we have consented to use your personal information, other than for legal or contractual reasons, you have the right to remove it at any time. You also have the right to unsubscribe from any materials we may send you. You can withdraw consent from these using the “unsubscribe” button included at the bottom of marketing emails we send you. However, if you make a request this may cause delays or prevent us delivering services to you. We reserve the right to transfer your data if Inspiration in Education is sold, goes into a merger, liquidation or receivership or transfers all, or substantially all, of its assets to a new owner. This will only take place if the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of this privacy statement. We will let you know of any such transfer and you will be able to opt-out if you wish. We use the payment platform Stripe ( to process credit and debit card payments made to us via our website. This is a third-party processing service that allows us to accept your payment online. Stripe collects, uses and processes your information, including payment information, in accordance with their privacy policies. Payment information is never taken by us or transferred to us either through our website or otherwise. At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of PayPal ( We have no access to your credit or debit card information via Paypal. Paypal has its own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
